At around 12:43am, the Chapel Hill Police Department responded to a report of a carjacking in the 100 block of W. Franklin Street. An initial investigation determined a man stole a vehicle at gunpoint. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. Investigators are working to identify the suspect.
