We're making changes to some Town services and facilities in preparation for the forecasted winter weather. Keep an eye on your inboxes for more updates.
The information below is subject to change.

|
Council Updates
- The Council work session scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19 is rescheduled for Wednesday, March 5.
|
|
Chapel Hill Transit
- Service is scheduled to begin as normal. It’s likely to change as conditions get worse. For specific route information, visit their Inclement Weather page, follow their social media, and use the Transit app for available routes.
- No decision has been made yet about Tar Heel Express service to the UNC men's basketball game.

|
Parks and Recreation
- All indoor recreation facilities and Plant Road Administrative Office are scheduled to close at 12 noon.
- Outdoor turf facilities are scheduled to close at 12 noon.
- Afterschool program at Hargraves Community Center is canceled.

|
Chapel Hill Public Library and Community Arts & Culture
- The library is scheduled to close at 12 noon.
- All scheduled public programming will be canceled, including the morning Toddler Time sessions.

Affordable Housing & Community Connections
- The Caldwell Street office is scheduled to close at 12 noon.
- Public Housing residents can drop payments off at the dropbox outside Town HAll
