Hello, neighbors! Winter weather is on its way, and we've got some reminders for how to prepare. We don't want to jinx it, but in case you find yourselves at home with the kids on a snowy afternoon, be sure to check out the library's digital offerings, tell your teens to secure their summer job early with our Summer Youth Employment program, and register for Parks and Rec's Spring Break camps. |

Winter Weather Reminders
We had a taste of winter weather earlier this week, and there's a chance for more this weekend. Keep an eye on your email for timely weather impacts, including facility and service changes. We'll send those messages from info@mail.chapelhillnc.gov, so add us to your Safe Senders list. In the meantime, now is a great time to brush up on winter weather safety:
- Have an emergency kit packed in your car. Include items such as a cell phone charger, jumper cables, blankets, and cat litter.
- Never use your oven to heat your home.
- Check on your older loved ones and neighbors.
- Keep an eye on the forecast at weather.gov/rah.

If you encounter yellow flashing lights, proceed with caution.
