The National Center for Rural Road Safety and NLTAPA Safety Work Group are co-hosting a FREE, 1.5-hour online webinar entitled Using Data to Improve Rural Road Safety.
This webinar will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm Mountain/1:00 pm to 2:30 pm Eastern.
In this webinar, you will learn about some of the innovative ways that data is being used to improve safety in rural areas. This includes:
- How to incorporate a systemic safety analysis into your Local Road Safety Plan
- How to use wildlife collision data to proactively address risk, according to the Safe System Approach, and evaluate safety countermeasures based on the potential for a collision with large mammals.
- How NEMSIS data can provide “real-time” crash surveillance to improve rural road safety.
