May Updates And Reminders
- Reminder that LEAs should have sent out or should soon be sending out Title and Federal Programs participation information to the non-public schools listed in your district non-public database and conducting consultation with those who are interested. Affirmation of Consultation and Equitable Share Services Agreement forms are due to Zach Hawkins by July 31st. You can also contact him if you have questions or need more information. - LEAs can apply of a Title Program Ed Flex Waiver by June 1, 2026. Through the waiver application, districts can request waiver for the Title I 15% carryover rule, the 40% poverty requirement to apply as a Schoolwide Program, and the minimum expenditure categories for districts receiving over $30,000 in Title IV A funds. The OPI Federal Programs Team will be providing a webinar to provide additional information on Tuesday May 5th from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Interested districts can also e-mail Zach Hawkins or call 406-444-3083.
