Amending Your ESEA Application to Accept Carryover
Districts receiving Title funding should have completed their Final Expenditure reports (FERs) for each program by November 10th. Once these have been reviewed and approved, districts need to create an amendment in their FY 2025 ESEA application to accept FY 2024 carryover funds that might be remaining. Generally, districts can carry over 15% of their prior year's allocation unless they received less than $50,000 in Title program allocations or were granted a carryover waiver by Zach Hawkins, OPI Title I and Federal Programs Director. For questions regarding carryover or the amendment process, please contact Zach Hawkinszachariah.hawkins@mt.gov, 406-444-3083 or Catlin Clifford catlin.clifford@mt.gov, 406-444-3692.
