If you are a state-approved traffic education teacher and your educator license expires this year, your approval to teach traffic education also expires.  While your educator license needs to be renewed by June 30th, you have until September 30th to renew your approval to teach traffic education. Teachers who are working toward their endorsement should contact the Traffic Education Office for guidance. Teachers who have earned their Traffic Education minor and endorsement only need to submit a TE05 Renewal Application.  Visit the Driver Educators page on the OPI website for more information and to submit your renewal application.

Contact the Traffic Education Office with questions about state-approved traffic education programs in Montana, becoming a state-approved traffic educator, attending a Montana DRIVE Workshop, or for parent and teen driver education resources.
