Montana Traffic Education Conference April 24-26  Helena

Register now to attend the annual Montana Traffic Education Conference, hosted by the Montana Traffic Education Association and the Office of Public Instruction. The conference begins Sunday, April 24th and concludes on Tuesday, April 26th at the Delta Colonial Hotel by Marriott located at 2301 Colonial Drive Helena, MT 59601.

This year's theme is The Changing Landscape of Traffic Education with sessions on: Helping Fellow Teachers Avoid Burnout and Increase Student Engagement, Teacher Tested Practices for Stronger Outcomes, and Engaging Students with Academic Risk Taking, Montana DRIVE, CDTP, and much more!

 All traffic education instructors received MTEA's spring newsletter with a registration form. All attendees must pre-register with MTEA by Friday April 15, 2022. Reserve your room by contacting the hotel by April 9th to get the MTEA group discount. Register for one semester credit through MSU-N beginning Sunday April 24th at 10am. The college credit fee cost is $150. The conference fee does not include the college credit fee. You can alternatively choose to earn up to 15 renewal units which can be used toward your Montana educator license renewal. You may register for college credit or renewal units, but not both.

Register to attend a Montana DRIVE Summer Workshop

Montana DRIVE

Register now to attend a Montana DRIVE one-day workshop. Registration opened in February and June is nearly full. Workshops begin June 6 and run through August 11. Teachers, school bus drivers, first responders, firefighters, and drivers of all kinds are invited to register for a one-day summer workshop. Adult workshops are $335. 

Montana DRIVE Teen Workshops are July 18-20 and registration is open for all licensed teen drivers who have at least one year of driving experience. State Farm scholarships are available for teens who apply.
