Registration for Montana DRIVE Workshops is open!

Registration for the adult one-day workshops opened February 1st. Workshops begin June 6th and run through August 11th. Teachers, school bus drivers, first responders, firefighters, and drivers of all kinds are invited to register for a one-day summer workshop. Teachers can earn one college credit or 9 renewal units and school bus drivers can earn 9 training hours.  Adult workshops are $335. Register by March 5th for a $10 discount. Montana DRIVE Teen Week is July 18-20th and registration begins March 1st.  Teens who submit a State Farm scholarship application receive 50% off the $300 fee.  Visit http://montanadrive.mt.gov. Montana Traffic Education Conference April 24-26th

Plan to attend the annual Montana Traffic Education Conference, hosted by the Montana Traffic Education Association and the Office of Public Instruction. The conference begins Sunday, April 24th and concludes on April 26th at the Delta Colonial Hotel by Marriott located at 2301 Colonial Drive Helena, MT 59601.This year's theme is The Changing Landscape of Traffic Education with sessions on: Helping Fellow Teachers Avoid Burnout and Increase Student Engagement, Teacher Tested Practices for Stronger Outcomes, and Engaging Students with Academic Risk Taking. Registration will begin in March. All traffic education instructors will receive MTEA's spring newletter with a registration form.  Visit http://mteaonline.org for details.
