Scholarship Opportunities for Advanced Placement Educators!

 In 2022, the Western Montana Professional Learning Collaborative will be offering the following scholarship programs for AP teachers:

  1. AP Fellows: For teachers at schools with a majority underrepresented minority and/or low-income student population
    1. Scholarship amount: $1,000 max.
    2. Eligible AP subjects: All AP subjects EXCEPT AP Capstone (Seminar and Research)
  1. AP Rural Fellows: For teachers at rural schools
    1. Scholarship amount: $1,500 max
    2. Eligible AP subjects: All AP subjects EXCEPT AP Capstone (Seminar and Research)
  1. AP Capstone: For teachers who are planning to attend the AP Capstone summer professional development event
    1. Scholarship amount: cost of tuition only
    2. Eligible AP subjects: ONLY AP Capstone (Seminar and Research)

Application deadlines:

  • February 14, 2022, for AP Fellows and AP Rural Fellows
  • March 4, 2022, for AP Capstone

Please review the new legislation regarding Gifted Education in Montana - MCA 20-7-902. Each district is required to have a formalized gifted plan/program.
