  • The cost of this conference is $30 for MCTM members and $50 for non-members, which includes snacks both days as well as lunch the first day for all in-person attendees.
  • Registration fees will be waived for individuals/partners who agree to facilitate a 60-minute learning opportunity on Tuesday afternoon.
  • Up to 18 OPI credits will be available through our August conference, online meet ups throughout the fall and through a MFPE sectional in October.
  • The schedule includes time for both professional and social discussions. Please be ready to share your best teaching tools, tips and tricks.

Advocating for Quality Instructional Resources

Over the next two years, many districts across the country will be receiving ESSER funds. Investing in quality, evidence-based curriculum is both beneficial for educators and for students. EdReports has put together three action steps to help ensure instructional materials are purchased with long-term investment in mind. In addition, take a look at the OPI Instructional Material Guidance documents to aid you in this process.

New Course: Indian Education & Math Seamless Integration

OPI Learn

In collaboration with Zach Hawkins and the Indian Education for All division we have opened a two-renewal unit course braiding Indian education for all and mathematics pedagogy together. This course is designed to help teachers of mathematics find authentic connections between Indigenous cultures, lifestyle and the mathematical practices. It provides a planning tool that can be used to strategically align Indian Education for All and math curriculum planning.
