2021-2022 OPI Professional Learning Needs Survey

We are requesting your feedback on the numerous professional learning opportunities offered by the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI). Everything you need to know about this anonymous and voluntary request for feedback is included below.

Survey Purpose

Public and private school employees engage in a variety of professional learning opportunities throughout the school year. We are requesting your feedback on the numerous professional development opportunities offered by the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI). We will use the results of this survey to strategically plan OPI-directed professional learning opportunities offered during the 2021-2022 school year. This voluntary, anonymous professional learning needs survey will continue to be sent each February to as many Montana public and private school employees as possible. 

Response Window

This survey is open from February 1 through February 26, 2021.

Intended Audience

This comprehensive survey is meant to be taken by virtually any public and private school employee, including, but not limited to:

  • Administrators
  • Business/Financial Personnel
  • Educators (General or Subject-Specific and any grade level PreK to Post-Secondary)
  • Curriculum Directors or Professional Learning Providers
  • Instructional Technology Personnel
  • Nutrition Personnel
  • Paraeducators
  • School Board Members and Trustees
  • Special Education Personnel (Speech-Language, OT, PT, etc.)
  • Special Education Teachers
  • Traffic Personnel

Sharing the Survey

You are welcome to share the survey with any Montana public or private school employees. The link is https://montanaopi.sjc1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4MYeATtOTrzTnMx.

How the Survey Results are Used

The priorities selected will be used to develop the professional development offerings for the 2021-2022 school year. An analysis of the priorities and the OPI's response to the priorities will be shared on the OPI's Professional Learning website.
