The Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI) purchases TransACT ParentNotices for all K-12 educators in the state. TransACT ParentNotices provides district-wide, online access to forms and notices translated into priority languages supporting compliance with federal education and Civil Rights laws.
TransACT is transitioning customers to an improved, updated user interface. The updated user interface still has all the notices, languages, features, and other tools you are used to using, and it now includes a more intuitive user experience plus new features that we are excited about. All Montana districts will transition to the updated user interface on May 28th.
If you do not have an account with TransACT, now is the time to sign up. All K-12 educators in Montana can sign up for an account using their school district email address. Use this Quick-Start Guide to activate your account!
New features in the updated user interface:
- Mobile delivery – TransACT ParentNotices can now be sent directly to parents on smartphones or tablets.
- Electronic signatures – Once parents receive a notice or form on their phone, tablet, or computer, they can sign and return it from that same device.
- Advanced search capability – We have improved our search feature to provide a more seamless experience for finding and using hundreds of valuable documents.
Shortly before the transition date to the updated user interface, you may receive emails from the OPI, your district’s TransACT administrator, or TransACT’s customer service department. These emails will provide more information about the training available to prepare for the transition to the updated user interface, links to user guides, and other important dates and next steps regarding this transition.
