Montana’s ESSA state plan requires all homeless liaisons to obtain a minimum of three (3) hours of professional development on an annual basis (July 1 – June 30). To help all liaisons meet this requirement, the OPI is offering the following webinars this school year. National Conference Opportunity
The National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY) is also offering a fully virtual conference this year, October 5-9, 2020. Registration for this conference is a very affordable $50, and it is an excellent opportunity to learn best practices being implemented by homeless programs from across the nation. Registration for this conference can be paid for using McKinney-Vento, Title I, Part A funds, Title II, or Title IV funds.
