This is a reminder that The Montana DEQ is accepting applications from all school districts to replace older diesel school buses with new electric, propane, or diesel buses. Applications are due to DEQ by 5:00pm on January 11, 2020. The DEQ Request for Applications is located at the following link: CLICK HERE All Montana school districts are eligible to apply.
For eligible projects, DEQ will fund 45% of the cost of electric school buses, 35% of the cost of designated low NOx propane buses, and 25% of the cost of propane or newer diesel buses.
