The OPI AIM Team would like to welcome everyone to the 2019-20 school year!

The AIM system is designed to collect demographic, enrollment, program participation, and assessment data for each student. The program also tracks special education students IEP data and all students’ movement from school to school and district to district within Montana. It allows for timely reporting and data accuracy through standardized reporting capabilities. This system allows school districts to submit the required student information electronically. The AIM system provides the OPI, the state of Montana, federal entities, and the education community timely and accurate data about the progress of our students, schools, school districts and the state.

District AIM Contact Update Form:  Please use the form to submit the information for the AIM contact for your school/district.  If the correct contacts are not provided to the OPI AIM team, you will miss out on reminders for data collection deadlines, Infinite Campus system updates and other important communications! Please make sure the people who are doing the work within Infinite Campus are receiving the notices.

What is New in AIM for 2019-20?

1.  User Guides - Within our user guides this year, links to Infinite      Campus Community will be present.  These links will connect users directly to the topic in the Knowledge Base of Campus Community.  Before you can use these links, a Campus Community Account needs to be created.  Please e-mail OPIAIMHELP@mt.gov for instructions.

2.  AIM Data Collection Schedule 2019-20 -  We are almost ready to publish the new Collection Schedule.  The collection schedule is your guide for data collection deadlines.  New to the collection schedule this year are Assessment deadlines for testing and data collections.

3.  Campus Community Forums -  Last year we shared with you that we would begin using the Forums within Campus Community.  This year we will use the forums more and more for communications.   In addition, some of the guides will be relocated from the AIM website to a thread within the Montana Forum.

4. Program Participation Template - The Program Participation upload template was updated on 8/2/19.  Snag the latest copy by visiting the AIM Upload Template page.

5.  Infinite Campus System Updates - Over the summer we updated our current version of Infinite Campus from 1909.8 to 1929.6.  A summary of Montana specific updates is available by clicking Infinite Campus System Updates.
