Who: Children, Families, Health, and Human Services Interim Committee

When: 8 a.m., March 15, 2022

The agenda and most other materials for the March 15 meeting of the Children, Families, Health, and Human Services Interim Committee are now available online.

The committee will be starting work on two studies involving the child protective services system. One study focuses on the family foster care system. The other study will look at the triggers for removal of a child from the home and reunification of families after removal occurs.

In addition to the agenda, the materials include staff briefing papers and other materials related to those studies and the committee's agency oversight responsibilities.

Additional meeting materials will be posted as they become available.

The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, in Room 137 of the Capitol. The public may attend the meeting in person, via Zoom, or by watching the livestream of the meeting..

Members of the public may offer comment on the committee's studies and oversight duties either in person or via Zoom. People who speak in person do not need to sign up in advance. People wishing to comment via Zoom must sign up using the online form by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 14.
