Join Us: Regional Meetings in Libby, Glasgow
Virtual Participation Options Available
The Montana Departments of Commerce and Public Health and Human Services are developing the State’s 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development and Fair Housing Equity Plan.
What is a consolidated plan? Montana is assessing its affordable housing and community development needs and market conditions and making data-driven decisions on how to use federal funding. Using data and public input, the State will determine priority needs and goals that will guide spending over the next five years for Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Emergency Solutions Grant and National Housing Trust Fund funds.
What is an equity plan? In an effort to affirmatively further fair housing, the Departments are developing a Fair Housing Equity Plan that will be used to identify fair housing issues in Montana’s communities. Using local, state and federal data, fair housing goals will be established to address fair housing priorities over the next five years.
Your input is valuable; please attend a regional meeting to discuss community development and fair housing needs. A meeting has been held in Hardin; additional meetings will be held in Libby and Glasgow. For convenience and accessibility, in-person and virtual formats will be offered at two separate times per location.
