Montana Main Street Grant Application Now Open

The annual application cycle for Montana Main Street (MMS) grants is now open for MMS member communities. The deadline to apply is February 28, 2024.

Grants are available for comprehensive revitalization projects and community planning, as well as to activate spaces and execute concrete ideas. Communities with a currently active MMS grant are not eligible for funding.

One successful MMS grant project from 2023 that is nearing completion is Baker's World's Greatest Pocket Park.

“It’s amazing how big of an effect something as simple as a pocket park can have on revitalizing a whole downtown, but that’s exactly what’s happened in Baker thanks to this grant," said Southeast Montana Area Revitalization Team Executive Director Vaughn Zenko. "This is something we could not have done without the Montana Main Street Program; the impact is already palpable.”

Grant guidelines and the application can be found here.
