CENSUS STORY OF THE WEEK

Fill Out Your Form

Complete the 2020 Census Now

The 2020 Census is now live and available to fill out online at my2020census.gov, or you can call in your response by phone at
1-844-330-2020. Filling out the Census is quick, easy, and safe. It will take less than 10 minutes to complete and your information and privacy are protected by federal law. It has never been easier to respond to the Census on your own, all without having a Census taker come to your door. If a household has not self-responded to the questionnaire by early May, U.S. Census Bureau employees are scheduled to come to the door to collect the household's 2020 response.

We are monitoring the impacts of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in real time and recommend you complete your Census questionnaire online or over the phone as soon as possible to promote social distancing efforts and ensure Montana gets a complete count of its residents.

In conjunction with the beginning of the 2020 Census, Montana’s Complete Count Committee released its final public service announcement encouraging Montanans to respond.

“In Montana we count everything,” a Montana rancher says as he counts cattle running out of his gate. “Fill Out Your Form” features Montana elementary school kids, a rancher, and military personnel as they explain why an accurate count matters to Montana. This Census 2020 public service announcement will be airing on broadcast television and radio stations statewide and will run through mid-May when the Census self-response phase ends.
