Member Highlight: ABC Acres

Nestled on 80 acres in the Bitterroot Valley, ABC acres incorporates Permaculture principles to raise and grow nutrition-rich foods. As nature intended, our Scottish Highland cattle and Heritage Breed hogs wander freely via rotational grazing practices yielding fresh, lush pasture to feed on, all the while breaking pest cycles, sequestering carbon, and building productive soil health. By incorporating a nature-rich approach to land management and animal husbandry, ABC acres operates free of synthetic chemicals on our land and in our animals. We pride ourselves on producing clean, quality foods without the use of fertilizers, pesticides, growth hormones, or vaccines....all of which are not needed when working with, not against, Mother Nature. Our Value-Added Products are all processed and packages on the farm at ABC acres. Seasonal fruits & vegetables, jams & jellies, mouthwatering jerky and meat sticks, varieties of sausages & bratwurst, along with traditional beef & pork cuts, ensures everyday on the farm is bursting with flavors & aromas.
