2019-2020 Annual Action Plan Public Comment Period

Greetings,

The Montana Departments of Commerce and Public Health & Human Services announce the public comment period for the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan.

The 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan details to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) how the State of Montana intends to carry out its housing, economic, and community development goals and activities during plan year April 1, 2019–March 31, 2020.

The 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan is available for public comment beginning July 10, 2019 through August 9, 2019. All comments must be submitted to Commerce no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 9. The 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan will be available electronically here, in hardcopy by request, or at selection locations around the state. These locations may be found on our website

In addition, the Departments would like to invite you to participate in the public hearing for the 2019-2020 Annual Action Plan. This public hearing will provide an overview of the Annual Action Plan requirements, affected programs, public participation process and report; as well as solicit input from attendees regarding the plan on the use of funds to assist communities with housing, infrastructure, and economic development. 

The Annual Action Plan public hearing will be held on Friday August 2 from 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. at 301 S. Park Avenue, Room 228, Helena, MT. If you are unable to attend in person, a webinar has been set up to allow for distance participation in the public hearing. To register for the webinar, follow the link below, and sign up at least 15 minutes prior to the start. After registering you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the webinar.
