Opportunity Zone Executive Order

The Department of Commerce would like to share that on December 12, 2018 the President signed an Executive Order establishing a White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council. The council will be looking at the impact of Opportunity Zones, legislative barriers, how to measure the success of Opportunity Zones, improve programs, and more.

The Council is to be led by Secretary Ben Carson of Housing and Urban Development and includes secretaries from twelve other agencies. To read this executive order for more details click here.
