Montana Invasive Species Council hosts Quarterly Meeting at Fort Peck
HELENA, Mont — The Montana Invasive Species Council (MISC) will host its next council meeting from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 at the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Fish Hatchery near Fort Peck. Guest speakers will present information about the Saskachetwan feral swine program and the North Dakota aquatic invasive species program. MISC is partnering with the McCone Conservation District to host an open house at the Nashua watercraft inspection station on Oct. 17 at 9 a.m.
This meeting is open to the public and virtual attendance is available with pre-registration. To attend the meeting in-person or virtually, register by October 9th at https://mtdnrc.formstack.com/forms/octobermeeting. Written comments can be emailed to staff and will be forwarded to the Council.
MISC is a statewide partnership working to protect Montana’s economy, natural resources, and public health through a coordinated approach to combat invasive species.
