Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche Appoints National Coordinator for Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the establishment of a National Coordinator to lead the fight against child exploitation and human trafficking across the United States. The National Coordinator will spearhead the U.S. Department of Justice's strategies for combatting human trafficking, while serving as the Department's liaison to federal agencies and external stakeholders for implementing anti-human trafficking initiatives.
Acting Attorney General Blanche has appointed Alessandra Serano to serve as the National Coordinator. With an extensive history at the Department of Justice, Ms. Serano most recently served as Senior Counsel to the Deputy Attorney General.
