2025 MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION DAY
Mississippi's 2025 Municipal General Election Day is almost here! The June 3 ballot features municipal offices across the state.
Municipal elections impact our everyday lives much more quickly than any other election. It's extremely important to do your research on the issues and candidates before heading to the polls. Make your plans now for Election Day on Tuesday, or cast your mail-in absentee ballot today, if eligible.
The My Election Day portal is an excellent resource to educate yourself on the upcoming election and receive information tailored to your address. Our goal remains to ensure you have trusted information at your fingertips.
As a reminder, polls will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m. Any voter in line at 7:00 p.m. is legally entitled to cast a ballot.
I encourage each of you, regardless of the races on the ballot, to cast your vote on Election Day. Additionally, encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to engage in the elections process and show up to the polls regardless of the races on the ballot. As registered voters in Mississippi, we can ensure our voices will be heard by casting ballots in all federal, state, and local races.
Should you have any questions, I encourage you to reach out to our Elections Division at 1-800-829-6786, ElectionsAnswers@sos.ms.gov, or visit YallVote.ms.
