Support the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act
The Trafficking Survivors Relief Act (HR 1379), introduced in the U.S. Congress, is a bipartisan effort to bring relief to victims of human trafficking. This bill provides resources to help criminalized survivors clear their federal criminal records, allowing them to overcome barriers and locate safe jobs and housing.
Polaris, a survivor-centered movement that has operated the National Human Trafficking Hotline since 2007, is encouraging Americans to contact their members of Congress to support this legislation. Through the Trafficking Survivors Relief Act, victims can find assistance and protection at the federal level.
