New Resource for Anti-Labor Trafficking Policies in Organizational Management
Through the Joint Forced Labor Working Group (JFLWG), a public-private working group led by the Office on Trafficking in Persons, a publication was recently produced with information regarding forced labor risks in supply chains and highlights recommended policies and strategies.
"Step 1: Embed Strong Anti-Forced Labor Policies Into Organizational Management Systems," focuses on the initial steps for implementing a forced labor due diligence program.
Designed to equip businesses for thorough compliance of Federal forced labor laws, this toolkit challenges them to take action to protect employees and workplaces. Despite the emphasis on healthcare and the public health sector, suggestions and implications may be applied across all organizations.
