Commission highlight: Advisory Board on Aging
This year, the City is putting together a strategic plan to ensure that people in Minneapolis can maintain their lifestyle after retirement. The plan will include needs like housing and support services. One important part of this planning process is the Minneapolis Advisory Committee on Aging.
The committee provides advice and recommendations to the City Council, mayor and department leadership. It focuses on policies and programs that serve adults aged 50 and older. There are 15 openings on the committee this spring.
Share this opportunity and online by March 31.
Meeting schedule
The committee meets the second Thursday of every month from 1-3 p.m. at the Public Service Building, 505 4th Avenue South in downtown Minneapolis.
