Get protection against COVID-19 and the flu at the Community Connections Conference
For the third year in a row, we're excited to bring a free vaccine clinic to the Community Connections Conference. Stop by the clinic on Feb. 17 while you explore the exhibit hall to get protected against COVID-19 or the flu.
Partner organizations will offer a $50 incentive to those who get the flu shot and $100 to the first 28 people who get the COVID vaccine or booster.
You must be over 18 to receive the incentive, but anyone over six months old can get vaccinated.
If you have questions, contact info@amamedia.org.
Download the vaccine clinic flyer to share.
Connect with City leaders about youth and community safety
As part of the City's ongoing engagement with young people and families, we invite you to join City leaders, the Minneapolis Youth Cabinet and the Youth Coordinating Board for a community dialogue about how we should be a safe, healthy and child friendly city. Our discussion will focus on community safety.
Council President Elliott Payne and most City Council members will participate in round table discussions with conference guests from 2-3:45 p.m. on the second floor, room 211.
