Hello,
If you’re receiving this message, it’s because you’ve expressed interest in some way in the Minneapolis Community Air Monitoring Project. Maybe you have an air sensor at your house, or maybe you’re simply worried about how air pollution may be affecting your neighborhood at the hyper-local level. Through this mailing list, we will share relevant news regarding the Community Air Monitoring Project.
My name is Noah Bowlin and I’m a Minnesota Greencorps member working with the Minneapolis Health Department on this great project until August 2023. My work will include distributing the last of our PurpleAir sensors, troubleshooting sensors that have gone offline, and communicating the data the sensors have received to different Minneapolis communities. If you have any questions or comments on this project, please feel free to reach out to me at noah.bowlin@minneapolismn.gov.
Soon, we anticipate having some news on several different topics related to this project. These include a pending EPA grant, the process of installing new sensors made by AQMesh, plans for future community meetings, and updates on a community air monitoring project website. In the coming months you should hear about all of these topics, and more.
