Residential Burglaries

Entry made by forcing door, unlocked window, pushed in window AC unit, and unknown.
Loss: cell phones, cash, jewelry, security cameras.
Garage
40xx 14th Av S 5/15 during nighttime hours
31xx Longfellow Av S 5/18 during nighttime hours
Entry made by forcing service door and unlocked overhead door.
Loss: tools, camping equipment.
UPDATE
More Burglaries…There have been 4 garage burglary reported in 3rd Precinct sector 2 and sector 3 in the last few days. There is no suspect information. All were in a concentrated narrow area, 40th St E to 44 St E, the east side Cedar Av S to Longfellow Av S. Three occurred between 7pm and 8am and one burglary occurred from 8am to 1:45pm. All had a locked service door. The loss includes electronics, bikes, lawn equipment and money from a vehicle parked in the garage.

Business Crimes
There were no business burglaries and one business robbery.
301 E Lake St (5/16 @ 8:25pm): Officers responded to a Robbery of Business. Suspects fled southbound on 3rd Av S per witness. Victim treated and transported from scene by EMS.
There were two auto thefts and three theft from motor vehicles.
Robberies
32xx Cedar Av (5/15 @ 8am): Officers were working the front desk when a family approached to report a robbery. The Victim was waiting at the bus stop when they were approached by 3 suspects. One of the Suspects slapped the Victim in the face and another Suspect took the Victim's phone from the Victim's hand.
E Lake St/Clinton Av (5/18 @ 2:30am): On the above date an individual came into the 5th Precinct to report he had been robbed at knife point. Victim stated he was at the above intersection to pick up an individual when Suspect jumped inside his vehicle, held a knife to his chest, and demanded all of his money. Victim stated he gave Suspect $80 cash and ran. Victim stated Suspect also took a car jack during the incident as well. Victim was given a blue card and advised to call PD for any further information on the incident. Victim 1 refused EMS.
