Dear property owner,

You are invited to attend a community meeting for the proposed 42nd Avenue North street reconstruction project. This project is located along 42nd Avenue North between Xerxes Avenue and Lyndale Avenue. Details of the project, including the meeting purpose, time, and location are provided below.

Project Overview:

The project will encompass the entire right-of-way and include full removal of the existing street. Reconstruction will include new pavement, curb and gutter, driveways, bicycle lanes, sidewalk as needed, streetscape elements, utility work as needed, pavement markings, traffic signals, and signage. Construction is proposed to occur over two construction seasons, starting in 2018 and ending in 2019. The project limits are shown on the attached map.

Meeting Purpose:

The community meeting is being held to present the proposed street design concept and address any questions that you may have about the 42nd Avenue North Reconstruction project. Project staff from the Department of Public Works will be in attendance to provide an overview of the project and talk with residents, businesses, and stakeholders.

Meeting Time and Location:

Monday, May 16, 2016 and start at 6:00 p.m., at which time attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the project and ask questions. A formal presentation will be given at 6:15 p.m. The meeting will be located at:
