Team –
The trees are in full bloom all around us, and the spring weather is here! I’m really enjoying watching things green up. As I’m writing this, there is a constant hum of mowers around me and I can’t help but think of all of the yard work and other “spring cleaning” kind of things that I need to do around my own home. I’m sure I’m not alone. Likely, we’ve all got personal and work lists a mile long. Before we know it, we’re working all day and all evening and find ourselves worn out! Don’t let yourself get run down. Now is a great time to be thinking about our to-do lists…and yes, they really need to be done! However, let’s make sure we’re not running on empty all the time. What’s your pick-me-up? What refuels your energy? No, I’m not talking about coffee or Red Bull J What do you do to recharge your own batteries? Is it time spent with family and friends? A good book? A hike through one of our fantastic Missouri State Parks? Whatever you do to fuel back up, make sure you’re making time for it! The state has great benefits like an hour of wellness leave each month, annual leave, and more. These benefits are meant to be used so that when we’re at work, we’re the best we can be and fully recharged for our days. I want to be the best teammate for each of you, and therefore I’ve penciled in some of that great annual leave for some days throughout the summer. Have you scheduled your time off? Make time to refuel and be the best you can be for your team! Crystal
