State Board of Education Meeting Notice
The State Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, February 10, at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Jefferson State Office Building (first floor conference room) in Jefferson City. The meeting is open for the public to attend in person.

Missouri CTE programs and opportunities prepare young people and adults for the job market and/or further education. These programs combine academics and job-specific skill training to assist in narrowing the skills gap. Administrative Memo- Identification of Schools Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
In March 2025, the U.S. Department of Education conducted a routine review of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s (DESE’s) implementation of K-12 formula grants under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA), including:
- Title I, Part A – Improving Basic Programs Operated by Local Education Agencies (LEAs);
- Title I, Part B – State Assessment Grants;
- Title V, Part B, Subpart 2 – Rural and Low-Income Schools.
