MO HEALTHNET DIVISION SHOW ME HEALTHY KIDS

MANAGED CARE TRAINING SLIDES

The Department of Social Services - MO HealthNet Division (MHD), together with Children’s Division and Division of Youth Services, announces available training on the new Show Me Healthy Kids (SMHK) specialty health plan for youth in the care and custody of the state, and adoption or legal guardianship subsidy assistance youth. Training Description

Home State Health will administer the SMHK health plan starting July 1, 2022. SMHK provides trauma informed care management services and integrates behavioral health and physical health benefits into a single health plan delivery system. The training content provides an overview of the SMHK initiative, eligibility criteria, provider resources, and SMHK coordination with state and federal initiatives.

Target Audience

SMHK training slides are available for the public to view. A question and answer session is also scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm at the Harry S Truman State Office Building in room 490/492. Attendees can also attend the meeting online through WebEx by following the instructions below. A panel of representatives from DSS and Home State Health will be available to answer questions.
