DSS Team,
Last week, the State of Missouri announced the launch of the sixth cycle of The Show-Me Challenge, an innovative way to not only hear your ideas to improve how we serve Missourians, but a great opportunity for you to win a cash prize! This year the top 5 teams will be rewarded a prize:
- 1st Place: $1,000 for each team member
- 2nd Place: $750 for each team member
- 3rd Place: $500 for each team member
- 4th Place: $150 for each team member
- 5th Place: $100 for each team member
In addition to a cash prize, each winning team will also get support from senior leadership to turn their proposed ideas into reality. I encourage DSS team members to consider forming a team of 3-10 and submitting your pitch before July 1, 2022 at noon.
As experts in your jobs, only you know the unique challenges you face when it comes to serving Missourians. This is why your input and ideas are invaluable as we continue moving forward and making improvements. I have no doubt that there are first-place worthy ideas within our very own department, and I would personally enjoy nothing more than to see a team (or teams!) of talented, citizen-focused DSS team members receive this much-deserved recognition.
