Searching Offender Prior to Cell Search Pays Off

On Wednesday 5-26-2021 while conducting a search of an offender's cell and person, a prison made weapon was located.  This weapon had been attached to the offender's hair and fell out during the search.

The weapon appears to be made out of a screw, cellophane handle and a string attached to the handle.  It is important for staff to remain alert and focused when searching an offender.
