On Tuesday, March 24, 2020, Governor Mike Parson announced the closing of all state office buildings to the public through April 6, 2020. As our department continues to take measures to protect team member health, Department of Corrections offices that are currently closed to the public will remain closed to the public until further notice.

The Office of Administration also will be sending a notice to the entire state workforce.

Staff should continue working in the same manner they currently are, whether on site, remotely or through an alternative work arrangement, until further notice. This decision was made in the interest of reducing the density of staff in our offices. Statewide, this approach has proven to be effective and has reduced the number of team members who could have potentially been in contact with symptomatic peers.
