JEFFERSON CITY – Russell Bucklew was executed for the 1996 murder of Michael Sanders on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He was pronounced dead at 6:23 p.m.
