Boil water order lifted for Taney County water system
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - A boil water order has been lifted for a Taney County water system. The department lifted the order for Taney County Water LLC- Venice, 111 S. Thurman, near Rockaway Beach, after testing showed appropriate disinfectant levels and water sample results indicated no contamination.
The order was in effect due to a loss in water pressure in the system. When water pressure is low, conditions exist that could allow contamination to enter the distribution system or household plumbing.
