JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The public is invited to learn a unique skill at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site in St. Charles. The class will cover the art of basket weaving and participants will create a beautiful handmade item, perfect for giving as a gift or keeping as a treasured family heirloom. The classes will take place once a month from January through April.
These events are perfect for a group of friends or for making new friends. Classes are $35 per person and class size is limited, so registration is required. Individuals are welcomed to register for more than one class, as a different type of basket will be featured during each lesson. Each class is $35 and all materials will be supplied.
