Board of Pharmacy Inspector Position Opening
The Missouri Board of Pharmacy has posted a job opportunity for a full-time inspector position. The posting may be found here. The position is for the Southeast Missouri territory which includes parts of St. Louis County. You may see a full county list here under Barbara Wood’s territory. Submit applications electronically by 1/10/2025 here. If you have questions about this position, please contact Jennifer Boehm at jennifer.boehm@pr.mo.gov.
NEW: Missouri Online Licensing Portal (Coming January 14, 2025)
In preparation for the online portal, the Board’s current licensing system will be retired on January 3, 2025, with the new online licensing portal going live on January 14th. The Board will not be able to process, issue, or approve any license applications or amendments from January 3, 2025 to January 13, 2025. This includes all new applications, changes of ownership, license/permit amendments, entity classification/name/location changes, late license renewals, notifications of intent to immunize/administer medication, and pharmacist certificates of medication therapy. Please share this information with staff to avoid interruptions.
We look forward to providing this new, customer friendly resource for all Missouri citizens and will provide more information in the new year!
PHARMACY TECHNICIANS: Pharmacy technician applicants may begin working once a completed application is mailed to the Board office with proof of fingerprinting (e.g., fingerprint receipt). Applications received from January 3rd – January 13th will be held by the Board office until the licensing portal is live on January 14, 2025. However, pharmacy technician applicants with a completed application may begin working under section 338.013, RSMo, pending a decision from the Board. Note: Individuals on the pharmacy technician Employment Disqualification List or the HB 600 Tax Suspension list are not authorized to work as a Missouri pharmacy technician until their disqualification is complete or their tax suspension has been cleared by the Missouri Department of Revenue.
Please contact the Board office at 573-751-0091 or Missouribop@pr.mo.gov if you have any questions.
