NEW:  Missouri Online Licensing Portal (Coming January 2025)

The Missouri Division of Professional Registration is pleased to announce that the Division and the Missouri Board of Pharmacy will be launching a new online licensing portal in January 2025!  The new online system will provide an interactive opportunity for licensees/applicants to manage and apply for a Missouri license online and submit online payments.  This will include:

  • All Missouri license applications and amendments (new, change of ownership, renewals)
  • Updating contact information
  • Name changes (Business & Individual)
  • Corporate officer changes
  • Entity location and classification changes, &
  • Pharmacist-in-Charge/Manager-in-Charge change applications.

In preparation for the online portal, the Board’s current licensing system will be retired on January 3, 2025, with the new online licensing portal going live on January 14thThe Board will not be able to process, issue, or approve any license applications or amendments from January 3, 2025 to January 13, 2025.  This includes all new applications, changes of ownership, license/permit amendments, entity classification/name/location changes, late license renewals, notifications of intent to immunize/administer medication, and pharmacist certificates of medication therapy.   Please share this information with staff to avoid interruptions.

PHARMACY TECHNICIANS:  Pharmacy technician applicants may begin working once a completed application is mailed to the Board office with proof of fingerprinting (e.g., fingerprint receipt).  Applications received from January 3rd – January 13th will be held by the Board office until the licensing portal is live on January 14, 2025.  However, pharmacy technician applicants with a completed application may begin working under section 338.013, RSMo, pending a decision from the Board.  Note:  Individuals on the pharmacy technician Employment Disqualification List or the HB 600 Tax Suspension list are not authorized to work as a Missouri pharmacy technician until their disqualification is complete or their tax suspension has been cleared by the Missouri Department of Revenue.
