I am pleased to announce that Mindy Laughlin, RN, BSN, has been selected as the new Director of the Division of Regulation and Licensure (DRL) at the Department of Health and Senior Services, effective Nov. 16.
Mindy brings over two decades of experience in public health leadership, regulatory oversight and program management.
Throughout her career at DHSS, Mindy has demonstrated exceptional leadership in a variety of roles, including Deputy Director, Division of Community and Public Health; Chief, Bureau of Ambulatory Care, Division of Regulation and Licensure; Administrator, Section for Women’s Health; Maternal Child Health (Title V) Director; and Administrator, Section for Environmental Public Health.
Mindy’s experience, commitment to excellence, collaborative approach and dedication to public service make her an outstanding choice to lead DRL. Please join me in congratulating Mindy on her new role and welcoming her as DRL’s director.
We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Bill Koebel, who has served as interim director for the past several months. Bill’s steady leadership, dedication and support have been invaluable during this transition period. We appreciate his commitment to the division and thank him for his service.
