The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Bureau of Immunizations, have opened the nomination period for the 2025 Immunization Champion Award! We look forward to receiving your nomination of a 2025 Immunization Champion for Missouri by Friday, May 23, 2025 at 5 p.m.
The Immunization Champion Award is a national award program hosted by the Association of Immunization Managers (AIM) that honors individuals going above and beyond to foster and/or promote immunization in their communities.

Instructions for Nomination
Individuals can be recognized for their work in childhood, adolescent, or adult vaccines.
Who is eligible?
- Healthcare professionals (i.e., pharmacists, physicians, nurses, physicians’ assistants, nurse practitioners, medical assistants)
- Nonprofit leaders
- Community activists
- Parents
- School and education leaders
- Coalition members
- Community-based organization members
- Immunization partners
Who is ineligible?
- Employees of the jurisdiction’s immunization program
- Employees, spouses, and immediate family members of pharmaceutical companies
- Individuals who are entitled to royalties or other compensation for a vaccine product or process patent
- Individuals serving as a paid litigation consultant or expert witness in litigation involving a vaccine manufacturer
- Individuals who have accepted or solicited funds from vaccine manufacturers
- Previous CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award or Immunization Champion Award winners
