Missouri Association of County Developmental Disability Services (MACDDS) promotes local county initiatives and developmental disability services. MACDDS is comprised of 62 county boards, 18 related provider organizations and 2 targeted case management entities. The Senate Bill 40 (SB40) County Developmental Disability Resource Boards in Missouri use local tax levies to invest in services and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Contact your case manager/support coordinator to determine if your local SB40 Board would have funds available to assist with your child's or youth's unmet needs. Families have previously worked with their case manager/support coordinator to request medical supplies, therapies and services denied through insurance. Funding for services varies by county. If you do not have a case manager/support coordinator, contact the Regional Office for your county of residence, to see if you qualify for case management.
