The First Regular Session of the 102nd General Assembly Begins
The 102nd General Assembly convened its first regular session on Wednesday, Jan. 4. Legislators spent the balance of the afternoon swearing in newly educated officials and “first reading” pre-filed legislation.
On Thursday, Jan. 5, pre-filed bills were second read. After committee chairmanships are assigned, Senate and House leadership will report select bills to committees of jurisdiction.
