JEFFERSON CITY – During the month of August, the Division of Workforce Development (DWD) recognized 12 Missouri businesses and organizations
that have hired military veterans under the Show-Me Heroes program
by presenting them with the Flag of Freedom award.
The DWD is a division of the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

 On-the-Job Training Incentives
Show-Me Heroes OJT
will reimburse your business for 50 percent of the wages paid during a new Veteran or
Military Spouse employee’s on-boarding and training process. Eligible OJT candidates are available statewide. Email showmeheroes@ded.mo.gov
