Join the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City (EDCKC) to their mission to Mexico

Join Narbeli Galindo - EDCKC Director of International Affairs, with Consulate of Mexico - Kansas City, Head Consul Alfonso Navarro - Bernachi, for a trade mission trip to Mexico City and Monterrey to meet with Governmental officials, Trade Specialists, and conduct Business Visits and 1-1 meetings with Companies in October 2017.

In 2016, trade between Missouri and Mexico surpassed $5.3 billion, making Mexico Missouir's 2nd largest export market. Mexico accounted for 18.4% of Missouri's exports worldwide in 2016. Over 97,000 jobs in Missouir depend on trade with Mexico. Mexico represents a major market for U.S. Exports and serves as an important regional hub for Missouri companies conducting business.

Financial Assistance: G-MAP & STEP funding for reimbursement for trade mission expenses may be available to eligible firms.

WHEN: October 18th to 24th, 2017

COST: $3,270

Deadline to register: October 13, 2017

Participation Includes:

  • Mexico Consulate Governmental meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Agriculture, and the National Entrepreneurship Institute.
  • One-on-One Company meetings will be scheduled with pre-qualified companies that have expressed an interest in your company’s products/services.
  • One-on-One international and global organizations to connect your company with possible partners.

  • Transportation & Logistics Assistance
  • Lodging Reservation Assistance

* Cost includes airfare, lodging and transportation. Other incidentals and some meals will be the responsibility of the participant.
